Fun and relaxing. However, you don’t get to physically go to several locations filmed because they are privately owned.

It’s a great way to see Austria. The tour guides were amazing and complimented each other nicely. The history of the movie was very interesting.

First, the large bus was almost full in February. My family, not so much me, are real fans of the movie. Simon, the guide, did a great job keeping the large group engaged and our was a mix of the history of Salzburg and backlot tour. Site of the sites are chief from the bus. I would have appreciated a heads up and brief pause to take a photo.

The tour was great, the scenery around Salzburg is breathtaking and the tour drives through a lot of great scenery. The guide was very funny and engaging, even someone who isn't a diehard fan of the Sound of Music can enjoy it

It was well organized. Our guide, Mitch was knowledgeable, funny and polite. The sights visited were super fun. The bus was comfy.

Very organized and so much fun. Our guide, David, had us interact with song while traveling by bus and was very informative. It was a wonderful experience!

Extremely helpful staff from start to finish, including at the ticket kiosk and the driver who was supportive of my elderly mother who had a wheely walker to get on/off the tour bus. Lots of fun and informative. No pressure to get extras. No hard sell for drinks, or tipping. We just let our hair down for a few hours and relived The SoM through the locals’ eyes. Would highly recommend this tour, prebooking not essential but makes sense especially if you are short on time in Salzburg. We were blessed with bright sunshine all weekend and met lots of amazing people throughout. Only disappointment was the coach can not make it up to the convent but being I walked this myself on another occasion, I totally understand why, the narrow roads are gradient alone are limiting factors, plus it is still a sacred place for the order of nuns who live there.

Antonio was great! Friendly, had lots of knowledge-about Salzburg in general and th the movie and he was a very good driver! We were in a smaller van because of the time of the year and it was a great tour!

I would recommend this trip, my mother and i booked our trip on 9th March 2pm. We had a lovely time visiting the locations of the sound of music tour. Our guide Suzie was lovely, she was so personable and interesting and she had lots of knowledge and interesting stories that she shared.

Took my mom for Mother’s Day! Had such a good time, the tour guide, Stephanie was a blast, got the whole bus involved singing :) sights were amazing, it was a bucket list location for my mum to visit so this made it so special x

If you like the film, this is a must do, whilst in Salzburgh. If you haven't seen it, it's also well worth doing for the trip and the entertainment providing by the guide, April, who was brilliant and very informative, also the driver, fantastic. I am only slightly interested in the film, but for me it was great value for money.

If you take this tour ask for April's tour, as she is sooo knowledgeable and encouraging with the patrons on participating in all parts of the tou and has an excellent voice! Totally funny and entertaining! Alex the driver was an awesome straight man in the comedy team.

Unfortunately the coach cannot get up close to all locations which is a real shame but not the fault of the company and the tour is definitely still worth taking.

The host was congenial and had a sense of humor. He was very informative about the lo atop for production of the movies and the details involved on production. The land of the lakes had breathtaking scenery.

This tour was great on every level! Our tour guide was full of knowledge and delivered it in an entertaining way. We saw the major sites. And even got a chance to sing on the bus. I loved every minute of it !!! the value of the ticket is extraordinary. We thought it was great just to see the countryside for what the fee was.

The tour guide, David, was born to lead this tour and sing! His knowledge, enthusiasm, and presentation were perfect; he drew the crowd in at every opportunity. The 4 hours were full of information, excitement, and well-organized. Each stop was worthwhile. The bus driver, Alex, was excellent/safe. I highly recommend this tour.

This was such an amazing tour! Between singing on the bus, seeing the sites, a wonderful guide (Peter), and the astonishing views of the small villages on the alps, it was stunning.

Saw all the sights in and around Salzburg and Mondsee. Great atmosphere on bus with Stephanie as our guide and Alex as driver. A definite must for all fans of the movie. People of all age had a brilliant time.
